Sheridan Smith and David Walliams have appeared in Shakespeare's 'Midsummer Night's Dream' in London this autumn and after the show we went to the stage door, where Mr. Williams signed this pic and Sheridan was totally nice and friendly, posed for a picture with my friend and signed as well. She's just great :)

'Kiwi' Lori has appeared in 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring', but can only be seen in the Extended Edition as Mrs Bracegirdle. She has been a must-have guest at the German 'Ring*Con' for many years and this year a friend of mine has assisted her during the autograph session and brought me this. Thanks to her and to Lori of course :D

I wrote to Rupert before leaving for London, not expecting a reply really...SUCCESS! Anyway, we saw him in the play 'MOJO!' and enjoyed it, afterwards we were told at the stage door that no one would be signing that night, so we didn't get anything there. Do I have to mention he was in 'Harry Potter' ? ;D He also added a (printed) card apologizing it took so long to reply...I thought it was quick. Card was decorated with golden ice-cream-cones as he owns an ice-cream van himself.Nice :)

Rosalie is currently starring in the Tori Amos musical 'The Light Princess' at the National Theatre in London. I saw the show twice over the last few weeks and loved it. I have also seen her as Arwen in 'The Lord of the Rings' musical and in 'Macbeth', directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh. She is just a great performer.

We went to see James Earl Jones in 'Much Ado About Nothing' at the Old Vic in London two weeks ago, sadly Vanessa Redgrave was ill, but her understudy was great. Afterwards we went to the stage door and someone came out and said he would take everything inside for Mr. Jones to sign, so we got his autograph but didn't meet him in person.

On my trip to Salzburg this year I also went to see two productions at the Salzburg State Theatre, first 'La Cage Aux Folles', which starred German TV actor Dieter Landuris as George and German musical actor Uwe Kröger as Albin/Zaza. He also played Captain von Trapp in 'The Sound of Music'. We went to meet them at the stage door afterwards, very nice.

Okay, this is one of these instances...you think: I've seen it all and then something like this happens. I have no idea, who he is, I have never watched any incarnation of 'Spartacus'. I can only say: it was my return envelope with a current US stamp, so probably sent out during the last year. Possibly some actor gave this to his/her agency to reply and they mixed it up and sent me an autograph of this guy. When I do several autograph request letters at once I always worry about mixing things up...I suppose agencies can do that as well. Anyway...I will not get a reply from someone and will always think he/she just doesn't sign for fans. Perhaps I should put secret codes on my return envelopes from now on... *is amused*
